Our Mission
Carbon Salon is based on the following simple premises:
1. that through our individual household behavior we are responsible for a significant proportion of the world’s greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions
2. that armed with quality information we can make meaningful reductions in our emissions without having to become eco-extremists
3. that doing this work in the context of community is more fun and more productive than doing it alone
This website is designed to guide us individually and as a community through the process of reducing our GHG emissions, thereby making the world a better place for generations to come.
